Who We Are
The Let It Rain Foundation was created as the nonprofit arm of Team Herro Girls, born from a growing need to support young women and families in our communities.
While we began by sponsoring student-athletes—covering travel costs, uniforms, and tournament fees—we’ve evolved into a movement. Today, our mission is bigger: to ignite opportunity, foster resilience, and nurture mental wellness for women and families navigating generational challenges.

The Let It Rain Foundation is dedicated to promoting youth empowerment, mental wellness, and personal development through sports and community support. We strive to build leaders in service and ensure equitable access to resources for all, regardless of financial status.

Our vision is to create a community where all individuals, especially women and families facing challenges, can access the resources and support necessary to thrive and succeed.
Our Programs
Let It Rain is dedicated to empowering youth through sports and selfless service, while prioritizing mental health and emotional wellness—especially for women and girls. We provide family-centered support for those facing financial or systemic challenges, fostering personal growth and leadership among our athletes. Our aim is to be leaders in service, not just in sports, by partnering established women’s initiatives. We believe that access to sports and supportive resources should be equitable, creating a level playing field both on and off the court.
